Kid-Friendly Lunchbox Ideas

So, school started little more than a month ago and for the first time this year my little L was going to school five days a week and not just twice a week. I realised with a little shock that it meant I had to pack lunches five times a week. I wanted to have variety, but also have a “standard” list of ideas to work from. Her school encourages healthy snacks with a treat or two on Fridays.
I started off making a list of all the possible snacks I could pack (and that I knew she would eat). And then I used that list to buy in bulk to have enough for a months worth of snacks/lunchbox options. I buy fruit/veg/fridge snacks weekly.

This way, I knew I wouldn’t have to scramble for snacks or ideas and could pack them easily the night before.
I try to pack most of the snacks the night before, but some days I am just too exhausted and then I scramble around the morning before work. Because, you know, #momlife
The following snacks deserve an honorable mention:
- Kiri Cheese
- Kids Ayrshire Mozzarella Stringy Cheese
- Playful Penguin Crackers
- Alphabet Crackers
- Wholewheat Crackers
- Any Bakers Mini Biscuits
- Mini Pizzas
- Mini Wraps
- Safari Dried Fruit
- Cocktail Sausages
I use Sistema Lunchboxes. They have awesome compartments to have each snack separate. Then I also use little silicon muffin cups to divide the compartments even further.
Well, that’s my Lunchbox Ideas!
Hope you can use some of the ideas,
